Going through the cousin archives of family memories as I love to do. I came across Cousin Jeff’s share of his father, my Uncle George, during a pause in WWII. It touched me. These all do. Here’s a question or plea perhaps to the new generation of cousins… Please leave your children memories like these. Memories they can hold in their hands and add their fingerprints for the next generation to ponder. You can’t hold or touch digital. You can share digital with the world but the real meaning is lost in the clutter and noise in the digital ether…

Funny thing… I came across this shared digital image just minutes after pondering life (as I do in the early hours of the morn) and writing: “Always lead with a strong Moral code. Things seem to end badly when good intentions lead…” Life never ceases to amaze me when thoughts are followed by an image that perfectly expresses those thoughts. Perhaps that thought was delivered through the spiritual ether from uncle George. Thanks Unc… and Cousin Jeff for sharing this.
